Sunrise and Sunset

This page generates graphs that show the sunrise and sunset times over the course of a year for any location on the globe. Adjustment is provided for Daylight Saving Time.

You can either choose a predefined city from the City selection box, or enter a latitude, longitude, time zone offset (in hours), and daylight saving rule.

Known bugs:

• Not everything works in Internet Explorer. Use another browser.
• If sunset is later than midnight, extraneous lines are drawn on the graph (see Reykjavik).
• Various random extra lines on graphs such as McMurdo (caused by NaN in data).
• Not all the world's daylight saving time rules are implemented.
