This morning Amy and I finally received our New Zealand Returning Resident's Visa, valid indefinitely! The first one they give new residents is good for two years, then you can apply for an indefinite one. Our previous ones expired earlier this year, which means we couldn't leave if we also wanted to come back home. Now we're fully internationally mobile.
