They say the Land Rover vehicles defined the concept of "sport-utility vehicle". The Land Rover Web Site has all sorts of info on the Defender. Sadly, the Defender 90 is no longer sold in North America, apparently due to the fact that trucks in its class now require driver and passenger air bags. There is no room for air bags in the Defender 90 without a major redesign.
