Late one evening, a storm front moved southward just east of Austin. This was a very active storm system, with literally dozens of cloud-to-cloud strikes per second. The show was absolutely spectacular, and to top it off the nearly-full moon was clearly visible above the storm system. This show almost made up for missing the total lunar eclipse the night before (it was too cloudy).
Because the storm system was so far away, these pictures didn't turn out very well.
